Privacy Policy at NITAQ
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains how NITAQ handles information when you use the platform, including the optional Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar integrations.
Types of Information We Collect
- Personal Information: Such as name, email address, phone number, and job title.
- Technical Information: Such as IP address, browser type, access date and time, and operating system used.
- Usage Information: Pages visited, browsing duration, and links clicked.
- Other Information: Cookies and analytics tools.
How We Use the Information
- We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and improve our services.
- Communicate with you and respond to inquiries.
- Analyze site usage to enhance your experience.
How We Protect Your Data
- We take technical and organizational measures to ensure your personal data is protected from loss or unauthorized access. These measures include:
- Storing data in secure systems accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Using firewalls and encryption technologies to maintain privacy.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share information with service providers as needed to operate NITAQ. When you connect a calendar, meeting details are exchanged with the calendar provider. Events and invitations may also be visible to the attendees you add and people who can access that calendar under its sharing settings.
Google and Microsoft calendar access
Calendar connections are optional and require your authorization. We access the connected account email and calendar event information, which may include event titles, descriptions, start and end times, attendees and meeting links. Google Calendar access covers reading, creating, updating and deleting events. Microsoft access uses delegated calendar permissions, so actions are performed on behalf of the user who connects their account.
How calendar information is used
NITAQ uses calendar information to show your schedule and to create, update or cancel calendar events for meetings you manage in NITAQ. We do not sell calendar data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Connection credentials and storage
We store the connected account email, granted permissions, token expiry information and encrypted access and refresh tokens. Refresh tokens allow the connection to continue without asking you to sign in for every request. Meetings created through NITAQ may also store event identifiers and meeting details needed for synchronization.
Calendar data sharing and access
Calendar data is sent to Google or Microsoft to provide the integration you enable, and event information can be sent to attendees you choose to invite. Access by personnel is limited to cases you authorize or where needed for security, troubleshooting or legal obligations. We do not transfer calendar data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
Retention and deletion
Connection records and credentials are retained while your calendar is connected. Disconnecting deletes the active integration record and its stored access and refresh tokens. Disconnecting does not automatically delete existing NITAQ meeting records or events already stored in Google or Microsoft. You can manage those events in the provider calendar and contact us about deletion of NITAQ data. Operational logs and any backup copies may have separate retention periods.
Disconnecting or revoking access
You can disconnect a calendar from Profile > Linked accounts in NITAQ. You can also revoke NITAQ access in your Google or Microsoft account settings. After disconnection, calendar features require a new connection before they can be used again.
Google API data and Limited Use
NITAQ handles information received from Google APIs according to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
